I know...I know

I told myself when I started this blog that I would try to do one about once a week and here I am 1 month after my last post.  What can I say?  Life has gotten busy and I don't want to stop to write things down, I would rather just keep playing and pass out at the end of the day.  I guess we're all kids at heart.  I do need to at lest catch up on a few things.

First of all...
We celebrated Duke's 7th birthday.

Second...
There was yet another snow storm that we had to go sledding in the laundry basket.  Luckily, Drew stayed home for this one.
We were actually snowed in the neighborhood for 3 days.  We all got a little crazy at the end.
And then all of a sudden it warmed up and we were all happy!
Davis has apparently been dreaming about walking because Friday he woke up from his nap and just took off.  Today I think we counted about 17 steps before he sat down.  He jumped from 2 or 3 every once in a while to 6,7 and 8 like it was nothing!  And he so proud himself!

Jackson is getting to the age where he is saying things that are hilarious.  The other day he was not obeying something Drew had asked him to do.  This went on and on and finally it was time for it to get serious.  Drew took him up to his room and explained to him why he was going to get a spanking.  As soon as Drew pulled his britches down Jackson said "Uh oh, this isn't good.".  Drew couldn't hold it in and didn't go through with it he was laughing so hard.

Another story - One night I was eating dinner with the boys and as usual I was bargaining with Jackson about how many more bites he should take.  When I told him he had to take 3 more bites he looked at me, furrowed his brow and said "Woah, woah, woah".  It was so funny!  Two, maybe but 3?  That's just asking too much lady!

Yet another funny story - All 3 of us were playing in the backyard when I heard the mailman.  I told Jackson we should go check the mail, so we headed up to the mailbox.  I started to pull the mail out and there was a larger padded envelope.  Jackson looked so happy and said "A present for you Momma!  A surprise!"  I knew what it was, but I played along "Yeah Jackson!".  Then came "It must be Lulu Lemon!".  Wait, what?!  Ok, I do like Lulu Lemon but I promise I'm not that bad!  All I could think was we had recently been in the store so it must have been on his mind.  Sadly it was not Lulu Lemon, but it was pretty funny.
