American Idol

I don't know when I started singing to Jackson, but it seems like he's the only person that actually wants to hear me.  I've never claimed to be good, but sadly I like doing it.  Usually it's alone in the car, but when your little one picks up on it you can't help but join in.  It was probably a few months ago when I started singing Jesus Loves Me to Jackson before nap time and bed time.  He's now started picking it up and trying to sing with me.  It's about the cutest thing ever, but poor boy seems to have my talent or lack of.  Yesterday in the car he started singing out of the blue.  I know not everyone can understand what he's saying, but I know what it is which is just fine.

While Jackson is learning to sing Davis has been swinging.  He got in a swing for the first time last week and loved it.  Davis thought it was really funny when Jackson wanted to push him.  I have a feeling these 2 are going to be thick as thieves.

Movin' On Up

Technically Davis hasn't maxed out on his infant carseat, but my back has.  He's within a couple of pounds of the max weight and my back is tired of lugging that thing around, so it was time to switch.  Luckily Davis liked his new carseat because  Drew and I went to the lake with our small group over the weekend and my mom came to keep the boys.  We had a great time and I think the boys were spoiled rotten!  These boys are growing up way too fast!

6 months

We've officially made it 6 months with 2 boys!  Davis is growing like a weed.  Here are is fun facts for Davis -

1.  Davis weighs 18 lbs. 13 oz. (75%-90%) and was 27.5" long (75%-90%)
2.  He is sleeping 12 hours at night
3.  Davis is wearing size 12 months in pretty much everything.
4.  He still wants to eat every 3 hours and eats baby food 3 times a day.
5.  Davis can roll both ways now and wants to grab and try to eat everything.

Unfortunately we don't have a great picture of him for the update because apparently I snuck something in his milk this morning and he had a few bouts of projectile vomit.  Hopefully I can get a better picture tomorrow.

Like a weed

Well, Davis will be 6 months next week and he's hit the growth spurt that comes along with it.  Unfortunately it came while I was in Huntsville with the boys.  Of course it happens when we're out of town and Drew's not with us to help out.  So, I was woken up every 3 hours at night by a hungry animal.  From what I remember this was a pretty big spurt with Jackson and so far I'm right.  Davis has gained 0.5 lb in just a few days.  Good grief heifer!  As if he didn't have enough rolls already!  Luckily we have a lot of hand me downs from Jackson that are starting to fit Davis.  For instance, pajamas.  Davis is now wearing a size 12 month pajamas.  He only wore size 9 month for a month!  He is flying through clothes!  I can't wait to see what the official stats are at his check up next week!
