7 months

We've been working so hard at sitting up and he's made major progress!  I hate it because that means he'll move out of his nursery class at church, but it would be weird for a 1 year old to be in a newborn class.  Not only is he learning to sit up, but he's taught himself this new trick because believe me nobody in this house has taught him this.  He'll roll over on his stomach and then somehow move backwards.  I'm sitting here watching it in action and I still don't get it.  It's like a reverse inchworm.  He's just letting his legs do the work and he's dragging his upper body.  He can't go far, but then he gets frustrated when he ends up somewhere he doesn't want to be like straddling his giraffe on his playmat.  Well buddy if you could go forward then you could see where you were going.  Whatever, we'll tackle one thing at a time.

Here are our fun facts for Jackson's 7 month birthday:
1.  He weighs 20 lbs. and is about 30" long.  We don't go to the doc this month so I don't know what percentile that is, but I'm going to say big.
2.  His meals are:  breakfast - 3.5 oz baby food and 6 oz milk
lunch - 7 oz baby food and 6 oz milk
                            snack - 8 oz milk
dinner - 7 oz baby food and 6 oz bottle
bedtime bottle - 6 oz milk
with baby puffs and water sprinkled in between...ok heifer!
3.  He is wearing a solid size 12 mth clothes and some 18 mth!
4.  He loves being scared and thinks it is the funniest thing ever.  He'll throw his arms out and then laugh hysterically.
5.  He loves his big brother Duke.  Whenever Duke walks by or is even in the room Jackson smiles and tries to reach out to pet him, so cute.
He gets more fun by the day if that's possible.
