My Little Bunnykins

This Easter was so much fun.  It's so fun to see Jackson really starting to get excited about Easter egg hunts and the Easter bunny.  We started the weekend off right with an Easter egg hunt Saturday morning.  The church where Jackson goes to Mother's Day Out put one on at a local park and it was popular!  The lady in charge said they hid 1500 eggs!  I had to teach Jackson about game time.  At first he wanted to open each egg as he picked them up, with a quick pep talk from me he learned quickly get all the eggs you can then we go through the loot at once.  No time can be wasted in between eggs!  Then from the help of some high school guys that were helping Jackson found the jackpot, which was just a ton of eggs all hidden in one spot.  Drew and I decided since he didn't actually find it by himself he couldn't take all of the jackpot.  I mean come on, one 2 year old can only eat so much candy!  Jackson loved it!!

 Then Sunday we went to church, obviously, and Davis went to the nursery for the first time.  Luckily he slept the whole time so they never even got him out of his car seat, seamless.  After church we ran home and grabbed Duke and headed to Angie's for lunch.  Oh and did I forget to mention that our house is for sale and someone wanted to see it Easter Sunday?  We didn't care, but that just meant we had to get everything and everyone out of the house.  Surely these people know my house is usually not as clean as it was when they came.  So we escaped the house in time to go to the family lunch.  Jackson had fun playing with cousins and doing another Easter egg hunt indoors, thanks rain.  Davis missed the whole thing because he slept the whole time at Angie's too.  He even had on a cute Easter outfit that no one got to appreciate.  I guess that's an infant for you.  All in all Easter was great!  I'm so excited to really build it up next year!
